In 2004 he founded Kids Empowered By Your Support ( KEYS ) which provides piano, violin, cello, guitar, winds and brass lessons to Bridgeport, CT school children who cannot afford them.

Rev. Mich Zeman, Author

Mich Zeman (1950-2018) was the dynamic and beloved Pastor of Talmadge Hill Community Church in Darien where with Rob Silvan as Director of Music, he transformed a very small congregation into a thriving, service-focused community with a mission, “To Know the Love of God and Share It”. Pastoral counselor and psychoanalyst with a Master of Divinity from Yale University and a degree from the Westchester Center for the Study of Psychotherapy and Psychoanalysis Institute, Mich was also a devoted lover of poetry and music, a keen observer of human nature, and a wonderful conversationalist with a gift for going straight to the heart of things. The creation of The Innkeeper (2000) with its dramatic narrative deepened and enlivened by the point of view of a reluctant Innkeeper is also a testament to Mich’s ear for music, love of drama and a life-long passion for storytelling that is so much part of his legacy. As a much-anticipated annual Christmas event at Talmadge Hill, The Innkeeper goes forth now to a wider audience, making its debut in places of worship throughout the country.
